Bought Wivre shield over the weekend. enmity+23 now. I dont think price on my server going down any further atm, so happy with the purchase. Will prolly stick with this to the end =)

Party at bibiki bay! Partied here like it was 2004. Nice trip down memory lane. I gotta say Dhalmel at 66 hurts, had to go back to turtling (aka full AF, jelly ring, the works). Still, did try to spike turtle during ws.

First time partying at Caed Mire as pld at 67. Rest of pt was 64-65 lol. (I guess they really couldnt find a tank their lvl, since I was last member invited.) All I can say is, damn, those imps... are ... really ... annoying. >.<

On the other hand, those mucous undead blob aka jnun were nice. holy circle & undead killer ftw. I'm sure the novelty of the mire on my pld will soon fade though lol.

Redid DM & Got suppa for my future pld/nin >.>/ (I guess I will go for loq over musical for now.)



Oh really? Read the Wivre post below and seemed like everyone was on board with this shield. vit and def on koenig > enmity on wivre? So, Wivre for kiting, koenig for everything else?

You cleared all of NW (3 kings floor, with Undead blob, Ram, Turtle, Fafnidhogg, King Behemoth) w/ 12? Assuming you skipped the Wyrm and Turtle? that would be quite an accomplishment if you cleared all of the boses as well! /war to boot! That dragon hits harder then Tiamat :(

I guess I could agree with situationally using Wivre to kite but the low Defense on it scares me off a bit. Add on top of that the fact there are really only a handful of things that actually need kited, and you are kind of just taking up an inventory slot with it.

I can only think of Kirin(Non-TP burns) and King Behemoth that are kited religiously. I'm sure I'm missing some but those are the only ones that stnad out to me.

Hmm I thought Wivre was type 4?

while my ultimate objective on my pld is to fill the kiting pld need of my LS (just need homama hands for last haste slot, shield+ slots almost done, enmity slots left), I would not have said wivre 75 & beyond if it was a size 4 shield.

(nor would i have invested in it in first place for that matter. Would have saved for koenig)

In the last two days I have capped my shield, obtained Homam Manopolas, and the elusive Valor Cape! Its been a great week and its not even over yet!

I finally got my M.Head to drop. now if only W.legs would drop I'm 2nd on the list to get them at this point and time and we are 1/13 on W. legs We are Like 100% on Kirin Pole and 80% on Osode

Had to post this. Last night we did a PLD burn party. Set up was PLD PLD PLD PLD BRD WHM.

We decided to go to deco camp in sky so as to not have to compete for pulls mainly. And maybe so people wont keep stopping and staring at us...

So anyways 3 plds subbed nin and I subbed war since I dont have a multi hit sword and wanted to use berserk anyways for fun. Simply put this was the most fun i've had on PLD probably ever. We got about 10k an hour but would have done soo much more if we all hadn't been so rusty with sky xp camps. Our biggest problem was running out of mobs and having to stop and move to the next section. Now I remember way back when you used to be able to chain really high here but for the life of me couldn't remember how we used to pull things and keep the chain up. We semed to cap out on about chain 13 before mobs ran out on us.

I'm hoping this becomes a regular once a week thing but if not it was hella fun while it lasted.

Got my joyeuse in a trio of PLD BRD RDM :)

Super Tanked DM today, 1/1, and that run was a dry run. :D

Yesterday I did my first gods run ever with my new ls.

Killed Kirin and got the title.

Killed Seiryu and got Koenig Head.

Then killed Genbu and got Koenig gloves, I lotted a 996 on the abjuration /cheer.

Later on I went to Kuftal tunnel with a long time WHM friend and broke the latent on my trial club.

By far the best night I've had in this game.

Got Samurai to 71. Farmed up a Burning Eye thinger for O-Hat(yeah I know, I'm like two years behind.) Laughed as I watched another Paladin from my linkshell get killed by Genbu on Kirin. Promptly got Cyclone Clawed in the face immiediately afterwards. Busted ass down to Sea Serpent Grotto and helped a linkshell mate get his Joyeuse. Casted Flash too fast as usual on Fafnir and didn't claim.

i'm a bit behind getting this done but finally cleared ToAU 44. whoever says that fight is a joke can kiss my ass. it was harder than any of the CoP missions. i can consider myself ready for the expantion now. CoP O, ZM O, ToAU O

Finally got to try my hand at Maat this morning after 3 years. I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get to use my potions, but can't complain over my victory.

Too bad they are nerfing 2hand weapons now...

93 was the number, had a 0 when I tossed Rampart up on top of it.

Had several hit for 400ish when I had to use Magic Damage/Defense bonus b/c Carol or Bar had been dispelled.
