-- Everytime you see a PLD in sub Standard gear you have to hold yourself back from verbally tearing them a new one by telling yourself that its only "Town Gear"



Well said, and for this reason i have the same button as a Provoke Macro, on all my Macro lines (Otherwise I spam whatevers there every 30 secs)

i dunno if this has already been on (didnt want to take 1hr to read it all but...

-when the pt wants nin to split tank and you grab as much hate as possible just to prove that you are better (and after 30seconds of casting the nin doesnt get hate)

You are forming a lvl 21 party, have three so far. Tell the puller to pull the Giant Trapper "Just for fun:)"

You ignore the dancing weapons killing you to get off one more friendly cure on the solo dark 20 levels higher then you:)

No matter what job you are playing when you are not happy with the main tank you "Accidentally" end up with all the hate:)

After a day of tanking with no deaths among anyone you agroe a few wights on the way back, just to see if you can make it:)

Whenever a puller asks if they should pull something, you just say sure

When travelling to parties, you will voke too weak and very easy enemies just to watch them bounce off the armor.

When you accidentlly forget to change your macro set to the ones especially reserved for paladin, you realize as soon as you draw your sword something is wrong.

You will voke five wild rabbits outside sandy before you go afk, just to impress the noobs

When your in a party and the nin and war are tandem voking cause you are the lowest level, you still take hate off of them.

When at lvl 20 you had a hate competition with the pl, and won.

You ended up dying to get every party member to camp, and you bragged about it to your ls:)

You decide to level monk and INSIST to your party that you be main tank in the jungles at 25-30

(And do a better job than every pld, nin or war you party with)

You have read this thread since day one til now.

And my true response:

When you have matured enough to realize when there is a Paladin in your party as you level other jobs, it is best to hold back from getting hate as it benefits the party most.

last week of ff11... the only thing you want to do is get pld to 75.. ; ; (71 atm...)

I just did this @ lvl 60 with a lvl 75 mnk in the party stomping on NM Cancer in Quicksand caves. :D

- you continue to check how my VIT you have and brag at how high it is.

I wear town gear! I feel like a tool with my mismatched but smexy gear choices.


I do this when I run by other experience parties, and, much of the time, I have to shake my head and wonder where they went wrong.

You know you've been a Paladin too long when you relate every day situations to tanking. Tests, work, making food, it can all be related to tanking in FFXI. Trust me.

When your computer dies for months and the first thing you do upon returning is checking the 'You know you've been a pld too long when...' thread.

you watched our weaponset go from staves to sword and board and are now reading rumblings that staves/gs may be making a comeback for tanking

(haven't suited up pld since the update so i haven't tested the damage output of staff yet)

- Your so eager to be part of the people who have played PLD for too long you read every single post on this thread and /sigh that you havnt yet felt the awesomeness of PLD75

- when you survive citadel buster and say "wtf this game is broken".

-when you have mentally trained yourself to calculate the mobs tp gain based on it's delay, how many times it's hit you, and how much tp it gains from being hit instantly so you can then flash right before the mob fires off a tp move.

pressing macro, while dipping fries in ketchup
pressing sentinenl macro, even if u just pressed it
respect other plds, but they are still your competitors
replacing other plds in pt, as a must
