Returning Player Needs Advice! End Game Sub?...Follow

Hey guys,

I've just returned to FF after a 5 year break, and damn everything has changed. When I left my main jobs were Whm/Smn/Blm, all 75, so i've never properly played Melee.
As i said above, i've now came back and decided to roll something new along with my mate, and that's going to be War. Now i've read through loads of threads for Abyssea etc., and they all seem to mention that War and Mnk and two of the top jobs sought after within these places, and i'm guessing that even outside of Abyssea, the two jobs are still pretty dominant. Would that be right?

What i'm struggling to find solid information on is the most useful Sub job for Warrior - be it within Abyssea sea and for events outside of it. Would I be right in saying Monk and Dnc? Or is Nin still the viable option to aid tanking within Abyssea? I'm guessing that people will be torn over this and prbably say that all 3 are required for certain situations, but can anyone give me some examples of the situations? I'm just looking for some good guide lines on what to focus on first so i'll be useful when i hit abyssea at 75.

Damn, I never knew that. Thanks a lot, I'll be sure to start getting samurai done as soon as I can then after hitting 30. Is it feasable to use SAM as a sub job from level 30 onwards then, or just 70+? And can you advise if the same situation applies if I were to have MNK as main? Would SAM still be the Sub for the above reasons?
