Returning 75 WAR...basics to 95?Follow

I've been in Abyssea as WHM enough to know my way around, have Cruor, have Atma slots open, however I've never done anything as a melee character.

Currently my gear is mostly good 75 stuff (Adaberk, Haidate, Aurum Sabots, etc) but never got much of a good Great Axe passed Byakko's.

My thought based on what I've been reading here, for visible gear slots, at 78 look at Perle (replace all including Adaberk?), grab the Vermeil Bhuj from Abyssea - Tahrongi, and try to get some key DD Atma (Razed Ruins only one I really know).

I know what my role would be in Abyssea (red triggers/DD when appropriate), but I'm not sure what the best "focus" is for gear. Used to be get your accuracy up to 90%-95%ish then pile on haste/attack. Macro in STR gear for WS. Still basically the same? With all the boosts available through Atmas like Store TP, I'm not really sure what to focus on at this point.

Last 2 questions, what would be the recommended paths for Empy weapons and what good atmas should I look for to low-man Abyssea and basic xp parties?
