True, but he made zero mention of his thief, other than the fact he
has dagger merits, while at the same time showing a little reluctance to remove his axe merits. And seeing as how this is the Mead Hall, I opted to go with a pro-Warrior answer. If it were a general answer, I'd say pick a job first then decide where you want those merits to be, and to remember that as a melee its pretty moot anyway. In a well oiled -- hell, a half assed shell -- the mob is going to be debuffed and melees are going to be buffed to a point where those merits are doing little. They're nice, but in the end they're equal to each other either way. Its not "Hay, the dagger merits are doing more for Thief than axe are for Warrior," its simply "Hay, I like Job A better than Job B, and wish to merit accordingly."
Of course, like I said, pro-Warrior answer: Focus on Great Axe, Axe, and Sword.
