Hit a 1385 200% TP Raging Rush as a level 65 Taru WAR in Bibiki Bay. Yeah, I cheated. But it was absolutely hilarious seeing the SAMs face when the mob dropped dead.

Capped Crit Merits on my NIN (still good WAR thing :p )

Biggest thing was in a party yesterday. This might be old news to some, but I thought it was pretty cool.

I go out there in Full AF (minus head) just 'cause, swap to Hauby and other gear as appropriate and go to town (this is 61 btw). After about 15 minutes, PLD up and says he has to go and that a MNK is on the way >.> Someone comments that the MNK can't tank, and the PLD says that I can tank (WAR/NIN here). RDM quickly pipes up that WAR's cannot tank, to which I put my AF Body and other pieces on, made some Rampage Equipment changes to put my hauby back on, and told the BLM and WHM that I needed Stuns/Flashes when I was getting hit...and proceeded to keep hate better than the PLD that just left :p

Chain 5's with no issues...only times we had problems is when the WHM wouldn't flash and instead cure bomb me, and the BLM never did help me out.

Considering I hadn't tanked since probably my 20s, I thought it was pretty cool thing to be able to still get 4-5k an hour at 61 with me tanking and no deaths. Setup was WAR, MNK, DRG, WHM, BLM, RDM :p

It was rough at first because his first reaction when I'd get hit is to cure bomb me. After a while of that and saying in party chat that I needed help with flashes and stuns...I sent him a /tell. Basically said that when I start getting hit, what I need first is a flash to get shadows up, not a cure. Eventually he started to flash when he'd see me take a couple hits, and things went much better.

I'm leveling war for fun and in hopes of a free lotted adaberk in the future (lol). THat and it helps my parrying skill. Regardless I enjoy being the best I can.

Dinged 58 yesterday so that means hauby is next! While meleeing in my scorpion harness +1 and not using food or 2 hour, I popped off a pretty nice rampage IMO. Highest Ive seen so far and I was impressed since people exp on these thingys till 60 it seems that and I couldnt even equip the pretty hauby yet.

A guy in my ls mods .dats to make things pretty (I also have a green fafnir and mithras that lay down when they heal). I actually think the fonts are modded from someone else and not his doing he just incorporated it into his latest .dat release.

Doesnt do anythign to the game but make things prettier. Click on my lj link for more pictures. But no it's not a fake in any way. Kinda silly to post bogus pics. If you want the full shot with the whole screen I can give you that...

why 2 tomahawk cause 30 seconds of special def down is pretty long and 1 savagery ... it looked better than the others <.<

but debating to put 2 Savargery now cause if I get a martial's all I need is 180% TP to make 300% tp every time I warcry

It gains a certain amount of hate and you can get it down to a 2:30 recast.

Dinged 71, Capped Great Axe, and Broke Latent on Trial Great Axe. Man I feel good right now. Now comes the WSNM, the less annoying part!

Aside: is it just me or are both key items your WSNM quest giver hands you (Weapon Training Guide and Map to the Annals of Truth) totally _useless_? How did the first people who did the quests find out about the WS points and the locations of the ???s in the first place? By trial and error?! @.@

Consider me inspired to do a quick FRAPS+MS Paint job about that very key item ^^ If I remember right, without logging in to look, it reads as a description:"This is a map to the Annals of Truth in [Zone with WSNM]"

Edit:Darn, it reads "A map indicating the location of where you are to travel for your final trial." and you lose the key item once you turn in the key item, so I got no screenshot ^>.<^ That would have been a classic:"No shvit??" or "That way->" paintbrushing.

Dinging 40 and hopefully ending the tanking portion of my war levels. Total of 3 pld from 10-40 in xp, icky. The last party had the 3rd pld and it was geat fun trying out the hate line from the other side.

Just got my 100th merit point :D
