Hey folks. I guess I should have updated sooner but I quit FFXI about 2 months ago for a myriad of reasons and I forgot to withdraw my name from the list. I had a few people request my assistance during the time I was on this list and I was able to help them so I guess it was worthwhile. I hope someone else picks up the torch because this game can be very tough to get going in, without a little help once in a while. Good luck Warriors.

Been using a GAXE since lvl 1 ^^ I'm lvl 58 now, never touched dual axes, never will until 75 when I need to cap them ^^.

Well, I'm about to "age out" so to speak. I walked all the way to Mhaura and bought the level 5 GAX, but I can't afford any of the GAXes up to my level, so ANY GAX at this point (level 17) would be very welcome. I appreciate you helping out a newbie like me.

Thanks for the GAX and the advice, hyunkyl. My HDD stopped working for somereason, so I haven't been able to log on for a few days. But the good news is I got to upgrade to a Seagate Momentus 750GB

I was really fortunate, I farmed a few stacks of Silk Thread and put them in my bazaar for 10k, not realizing that that was the price per unit not stack ... and somebody bought them So I was fortunate to be able to get a lot of good armor for my WAR, so I'd feel a little guilty asking for more GAXes from you with that stroke of luck! I think my plan is to get WAR to about 24 (it's 23 now) and then I can start trying to get the subjob items. Then I'll level MNK as a subjob, then WAR to 30 for the "advanced" jobs. I don't think I'll be able to get a lot of them solo, but I remember BST being pretty easy to get back in the day when I originally got it, and that was a lot of fun. I think I'll see if I can level BST up with WAR since it looks like soloing is the only way to level until you get into the higher levels anymore, and it would be nice not to take all the damage soloing and let a pet do it!
