Modus Veritas Question

I have a question for scholars who have Modus Veritas and have used it in conjunction with other scholars on one helix. If two different scholars put Modus Veritas on a mob, will the helix DoT be x3 or x4 the original amount? Thank you in advance Scholar community.

P.S. Just got my Mortarboard, that fight is fun as hell!

1 SCH use MV = 2x initial dmg/tic
2 SCH use MV = 4x initial dmg/tic
3 SCH use MV = 8x initial dmg/tic
etc etc

Also worth noting that unmerited, the duration is also halved so the benefit is basically just speeding through your Helix's total damage quicker. With full merits, no duration is lost through MV but I can't say for certain whether there's a cap on the damage-doubling.

Thanks for the answers, there has to be a cap on the number of times you can put MV on a mob. Otherwise, 18 SCH would be able to take down any mob not named Pandemonium Warden in seconds, as 18 fully merited Modus Veritas would do something like 260 thousand times the original damage, which would be enough to kill everything in the game aside from Pandemonium Warden.
