Scholar's Main Stat?Follow

I know this is probably a noob question (considering I've lvl'd SMN, RDM and WHM all the way) but being a Scholar, I noticed my main stat when I sub WHM, being naturally the highest, is CHR, but when I sub BLM, my highest stat of course is Int :)

Just wondering if CHR had anything to do with Scholar

Well I noticed that too but, it seems you are also a hume. Humes have the naturally highest CHR, so that's probably why we're seeing the difference. I seriously doubt any of our abilities are based on CHR, Scholars don't exactly seem like the charismatic type.

I think the focus depends on your race, party role and subjob. But one would probably want to gear almost identically to a RDM. MP gear, INT gear, MND gear and any Elemental, Enfeebling and Dark Skill+ they can get. Divine, Healing and Enhancing are ok but significantly less useful, as things don't resist your healing or divine.

okie thx XD hahaha...

I just find it weird Charisma is about the same as my Int, now with BLM subbed.

But owell, the job is still a bit mysterious for now :) but I'll stick to MND/INT and MP gear (when needed to Main heal lol!)

I've noticed a strangely high CHR stat for my level 18 Scholar/White Mage (Taru):

STR: 14
DEX: 18
VIT: 18
AGI: 20
INT: 26
MND: 20
CHR: 21

Dunno why that is, just wish my MND wasn't so low. ._.

I noticed this as well when playing SCH yesterday, that CHR was my highest stat. It probably means nothing, more race effected than anything. I'll certainly be playing around with my CHR when I get some of the new spells +40 out of curiosity, however, to see if it affects anything.

When I get the expansion and unlock the job I'll know something is wrong is dex isn't my highest stat(mithra).

But being that the spells are still white magic and black magic int and mnd would be the stats to get. If people are noticing high chr hell maybe they decided to put a chr mod on storm or helix spells. Course it could, and likly is, one of those things like why is there chr on rdm af or int on war af, etc.

Scholar's highest stat natively (i.e. ignoring the effects of subjob) is INT; their second highest is CHR. Lowest is STR, 2nd lowest is VIT. DEX, AGI, and MND are all at "average" level.

WHM has above-average CHR and low INT, so when you go SCH/WHM, CHR will generally be your highest stat by a few points.

CHR affects enfeebling resistance rate. The link only says bard spells but if you test this out with CHR- gear vs. CHR+ gear you will be able to tell the difference.

Chr is a brd song stat, chr doesn't affect white or black magic enfeebles those are int and mnd.
