Can RDM solo Mx'Grah? Follow

Can RDM solo Mx'Grah Tier II VNM in Mis Coast? I Can solo Ironclad Smiter/Executioner and Long Barreled Chario as well as all other T2 VNMs as well as Visions T3 VNMs with Kite+nuke method. Is it possible to solo Mx'Grah on RDM? I really need Trisitia pops...

Possibly. But it'd take ages. It has a decent chunk of hp and takes reduced damage from magic. It also hits like a truck, and very fast, so you gotta keep your distance. Which isn't so easy considering it runs faster than average (can still keep away with +12% because it casts if you don't cast anything yourself).

Easiest way is to get blink tank friend and duo it. :)

I don't see why not, but to be honest, I'd be rather annoyed to see a RDM trying to do so. It probably wouldn't die all that quickly.

You're gonna want help for Tristitia anyway unless you brew it, so you might as well bring at least one other person and go for multiple pops.

Also, yeah, it does hit kinda hard, but this is speaking from the perspective of a typical unguarded melee. A prepared RDM could possibly chop down the severity of the hits enough to the point a melee-fight *might* be manageable. Also, if you see it hitting quickly it probably cast Haste on itself. It can be slowed, and Haste-blocked with Slow II. :D Paralyze also works.

It hits like a truck on a pet with -50% pdt (before Ducal Guard activates). >.> in the line of 250-300 a hit. And enspell for ~100 on top of that. But yeah, it probably cast haste on itself at some point and as bst solo I didn't have a way of dispeling it (need dual wield for -100% pdt set).

250-300 is about how hard it hits my DNC with zero PDT >_> (Not counting Enlight or crits)

From the sounds of those numbers you could likely give it a good run /BLU. Reducing its damage to low 40's (after accounting for cocoon phalanx and -pdt gear). The outlier would be the enlight, with shell and MDB though id wager you are looking at maybe 60 DMG on enlight, - any possible mdt you can squeeze in.

Sangblade might not be enough to help heal yourself, if it is heavily resistant to magic damage, but it could help somewhat in the realm of a cure 3 or so. Sab Slow II + Para II might make things a little more friendly as well. Then there is of course stoneskin which at this point would last for 3-4 attack rounds depending on DA's and Crits.

I was thinking more of a kite+nuke strategy involving pinning. How much -MDT are we talking about? 50% 75% 90%? Even at 50% my Blizz4 would still do ~1.8k and Bliz3 would do 1100ish. Assuming it has around 25k like other T2 VNM, it shouldn't take too long I'd wager, right?

Well why not try it out? It's not like you have anything to lose. It looks like you know what you are doing so you might as well try it out.

It really requires some people to try it out so when others ask the same question, you can say if it's possible or not.
