Hi all,
I got to level 5 as a warrior, and wanted to try my hands an magic. I changed my job to Red Mage, but I don't seem to have any spells? Did I do something wrong?

you have to buy them. you only get a spell at creation if you start as a caster, and even then, you only get one.

Fight around until you read level 3 or 4 then go buy Cure and Protect.

u might want Dia as well the more you use it the better your enfeebing lvl goes up that will help when u want to cast a spell on your weapons later on!

uhm...for the weapon buffing later that's enhancement(Protect, L7) there guy, not enfeeblement(Dia, L1).
As far as using Dia to raise skill level, it's a good idea. You get lots of enfeebling line spells as a red mage. By level 10 you should have paralyze, poison, bio, blind, and of course dia.
