In a few days I will be returning from a two-year hiatus, so there are goals I need to set and gear is one thing.
My DNC is 80, I will have leveling to do and skilling up thereafter before I will get to the real business of earning stuff.
Before I left, I was working on earning a lightning Kila doing Golems in sky. From what I read now, finding that accuracy is valued less compared to attack, I regrettably should have worked for the fire one instead (damn flans put me off it at the time). Do you think I should finish it anyway? Knowing there will be new content outside of Abyssea what with the new expansion, I think I might as well. I'm not sure.
I considered doing a pair of wind daggers for the situational evasion, until I read on the Oynos & Twilight Knife that looks to me like it's a better pair for medium-difficulty NM soloing. The wind pair maybe for harder NMs but I imagine I'll be facing fewer of them by a large margin, or even none at all. Hmm.
Now onto the multi-hit trial daggers. I finished trial 11, hoping I haven't accepted trial 12 after finding out the end result isn't better than a pair of DA ones. Can a trial be canceled and step down one branch or will I have to start from scratch? Black Triple Stars were a pain.
That's it for weapons. Criticisms and opinions welcomed.
