I found that whilst soloing the ironclads or even Simmurgh that it was actually better to just go /war due to shadows being completely irrelevant and not lasting more than a couple of secs tops...
There may be a few other NM's that are similiar, where its a better option to just rely on your ability to cure yourself whilst beating the NM as fast is possible rather than out and out EVA soloing it, i know this was the case for me at least.

Nowadays, /Nin for most of what Dancer does is irrelevant as far as shadows are concerned. It still has its uses, but /Thf or /War for what Dancer is used for tends to be the better option all in all.

After experiencing the level cap increase, I don't find myself using shadows at all. I can see that /nin only has niche uses now so I was wrong to suggest it as such.
