help with dancer flag questFollow

so i just got game after 3 years gone


im doimg the dnc flag quest im at the part where you have to go back in time which i already did


but when i entered the maw it spit me out in rolanberry fields! is this suppose to happen? i didnt think that was right so i warped back to jueno and then went back to the maw now when i try and enter it again it says "nothing happens " any clue what i did wrong????

If this was your first time going into the past, then yes this is normal. In order to enter a maw in the present, you must use the maw in the past first. Did you get a cs when you went through the maw?
