Flame Gorget/BeltFollow

This is for the mathematicians
Are they any good for SP SS?

Swapping in soil and light belt along with flame gorget atm, like some feed back before I go after the flame belt.

the elemental belts and gorgets are best for most the merit weaponskills. this is true of shijin spiral as well. This is because the tp modifier works on each hit.

it is probably best neck for stringing pummel as well, but i'm less sure about the belt. There are alot of good belts around.

Actually, TP modifier is not replicated on all hits on Shijin Spiral (like it is on many of the multihit merit WS - see this list). Therefore, Gorget/Belt help SS less than they help many of the WS.

That being said, it's STILL a good choice for SS. Other good options would include Agasaya, Rancor Collar (if you aren't using mantle), and Faith.

For belt, Artful/+1 is probably the best choice for SS. Anguinus and Elemental belts are solid options too.

Doh. You're completely right, I spaced on that... one of those pieces that I use on all my other jobs (all "light DDs"), MNK THF NIN DNC COR. But not for PUP >.<

So yeah, Artful and elemental belts are your main options for Shijin on PUP. Add Anguinus to the mix if you're on MNK.
