All right so I have reached the final stretch in my cirque +2 set, all I need if my 3 final jewels from these 2 mobs, and since I haven't seen it asked I was curious about just a few things.
*is there an actual good way to fight Titlacauan low man?
*should I do 2 pop sets for Titlacauan just in case he's stingy on the first drop, or instead set up an Ulhuadshi set.
*a stress on the importance of the first question.

Career 99 PUP/WAR, and welcome my shiny new 99 DRK complete with empy smasher.
well, I don't know what you consider lowman, but we did about 12 titlacauans in our group of 4 to finish all our jobs of its common drop. Here is what we did:

whm (2box)
blu (2box)
No need to count the 2 boxes. The blu was there for yellows and the whm was there because he was the only whm on triggers when our main whm was on thf. So he basically just sat there.
Mnk and war on the boss, whm/blm/blu doing yellow spells. Really the only reason to have 2 melee is for when he charms. If you have 2 melee he won't run for the mages and make them panic. Hadal Summons can hurt if you don't stun it, but a mnk with shellra 5 and barfira will handle it no problem. It attacks painfully slow, so if you stun hadal and ga's its just a matter of how many times he tries to charm.
You can also manaburn him if you want. He is slow and stunnable.
I don't think we had any deaths in 12 fights and we die all the time because we don't really pay attention until well after we get in a bit of trouble.

Seconded, my group fought him with nin/thf/nin(dualbox by blu)/blu/blm/whm, and he was a piece of cake. Got a bit annoying when he did 3 charms back to back, but thankfully it wore off from first melee right as third was charmed. Today we're going to go spam him to get lots of jewels.
I'd get two sets for if he's stingy with jewels, since Ul-wormy drops the jewels maybe 1/3 of the time in my experience.
