Do the nyzul climb, its worth it.

I made a static and we did 20 floors every sunday till we got to 60. Then we did 10 on wed, and 20 on sundays. Took maybe 4-5 weeks total to get to 100.

I personally prefer SP + burts for outside of abyssea, and VS for in abyssea since i prefer to use a mage automaton just to make sure i dont coincidently ruby a mob and have to listen to bitching for 30 minutes.



Consider using backhand blow instead of howling fists in abyssea. With rr/gh/vv it will outperform howling.

Hmm, would it be realistic for a level 90 to solo the non-boss floors? Or would they likely be too slow to make it 5 floors in a single go?

You cannot solo, and even with 3 it might be dificult with lamp floors.

No matter what you have 3-5 lamps.
You may need just 1 specific one (soloable),
All at the same time (possible with 3 people and 3 lamps, hard with 3 people and 5 lamps but doable i believe since you have like 20 sec to activate them all?)
Specific order (again possible with 3 people and 3 lamps, hard for all other combinations and potentially not doable in a lot of circumstances.

Commendable goal, just want to add a suggestion. Why not just work on both?

Now hear me out, keep chipping away at the ToM by all means(i plan to begin that line in earnest myself once i get my coins squared away), but that wont preclude you from chipping away at the required WSs need for Stringing Pummel when you are not camping ToM NMs. Call me a completion-ist or w/e but it couldn't hurt to have SP and VS as tools in the master's DD arsenal. Getting a group that actually stays together for Nyzul climbs is a pain, but the ws is just too good to just forget about.

Now take that suggestion with a grain of salt of course. I started working on SP access at floor 16 and unlocked it at 32, so my view is colored by the whole 'I did it so you can too' thing. And SP was the best that PUP could get at the time.

In abyssea i avg 2k bhb, and have caped at 3.6k on a pup fighting IT buggards in grauberg

That was while using burts ;-p

I still have like 90 points to skill up the ranged frame :-(

Its not for lack of trying or use. Ranged attack just skills up rediculously slow.

Melee and magic are both in the bonus range now, its just ranged attack takes forever. Im almost at 400 for magic and melee. I was hoping when i got it to 270/360 it would pickup but it never has, even tried going back to original abyssea areas and manticore in cape terri (since you can get up to 290 skill on them) and no where seems any faster then the rest.

With merits or af3 legs, you basically raise your current skill and skill cap to where the system glitches and always thinks you are uncapped.

As a result even after reaching 381 or w/e the cap is it will show 381/381 but you will continue getting skill ups. I want to say the cap was 361 (point at which the screen shows 381/381) for magic and you can continue to get skill ups after that.

I want to say I am at 379 magic, so i have 18 "bonus" points, meaning i will be capped for the next 3 levels of the level cap raise.
