As the title suggests, I am looking at changing my group 2 merits to include Winning Streak, and I am kind of wondering how much of what I should do. I merited cor well before the removal of the time element to the merits to Fold and Snake Eye.
My current merits are:
5/5 Snake Eye
4/5 Fold
1/5 Loaded Deck
0/5 Winning Streak
I am thinking of changing to:
5/5 Winning Streak
3/5 Snake Eye (Cause I like the % chance to get XI)
1/5 Fold
1/5 Loaded Deck
Is this a pretty standard merit setup, and what do you think?
Additionally, I have one more merit WS to do, and I was wondering about Last Stand and its viability. What do you guys think about last stand, is it used when you have access to Wildfire?

That's what I have. The extended duration from winning streak really helps keep you shooting. Try to get your af2+2 hat aug'd as well for a little extra time.
Last Stand has its uses whenever wildfire does crap dmg to a mob. Like qilin: wildfire does little dmg to it, so you should just go /war, use ratt food, and last stand him instead. You won't put up rng's numbers, it's impossible with cor's crappy bullet selection, but it's much stronger than wildfire in this case.
The situations where last stand is preferable though aren't too often, so you might not get as much use out of it unless you also have rng and use gun/xbow (even then, if you have relic gun, you won't be using last stand at all). Has very limited uses on thf, though a decent option if staying out of range is preferable (does not happen often).
If you have another ws or job you like more, last stand is somewhat expendable.

Last stand is pretty useful if you play this job alot. It shines on anything WF doesn't work well(such as qilin, Ig-alima type mobs, chair type mobs, prov watcher, ironclad type mobs/ many legion NM), It's also pretty good for zerging with capped haste cuz you don't need a staff like WF, it also shines in any situation you can get enough attack and make pDIF close to 3...if you have a 4 song BRD and DRG in pt, and if you're doing def down properly, it's very likely to outperform WF unless you have atma/atmacite or mob have some sort of PDT-.
I'd say go get it if you play this job a lot, you don't want to use WF in legion hall of Ki, or any ig-alima/qilin/ironclad type mobs.
