What would you like to see for your job: Corsair Edition!Follow

I've always wanted a special boost from the Mythic or Empy guns that benefited the party buffing side off the job. Don't get me wrong, the damage increase from either over AH options is fantasic but I always wanted:

Mythic Gun grants a boost to all Phantom Rolls

Empy Gun grants you a third Roll.

Similar to the Relic/Empy BRD instruments.

To add to your cor-pianissimo ability, to keep things simple, just make it a single roll that you can't double up on, since the roll isn't technically on you. This makes application quick, not having to spam double up for a single person at a time, though the single target roll suffers in never being more than 6 and stuck at 1/6 chance at a lucky roll. Relic hat, roll enhancing gear, and job in pt could still offer their bonuses for the single roll.

As with pianissimo and songs, it'd be a JA with a short cool down that transforms the next phantom roll. The recast on phantom roll should be lowered as well after a single target roll, say to 30s normally and 15s under 11 effect. Can dole out rolls quick and get back to shooting.

Bullets should be added that contain effects similar to status bolts and arrows and be useable by all gun jobs (thf, cor, rng, nin). Make them a low lvl recipe, say based on the copper, regular, and/or iron bullet recipes, to allow most anyone to make them. Of course, I'd also want copper bullets to be all gun jobs equipable as well if that recipe is modded for some status bullets.
Example recipe: fire crystal, 1x firesand, 1x brass ingot, 1x status potion (poison, paralysis, blind, vitriol (def down), demon blood (att down like demon arrows), etc. Same usually high proc rate as bolts aside from immune mobs and such.

Add cor to spartan bullets. Please.

Only problem I see with this is inventory, as that's a lot of different bullets. I had the same issue on thf with status bolts, though it'd be worse on cor with cards if you're not using just trumps.

Quickshot could also scale up in charges like sch strategems. Silly that /cor sub and cor main have the same amount. Maybe some more snapshot, not as much as rng, but it takes too long to shoot for tp in most everyday events. I could see single target rolls helping with this as you wouldn't have to keep running out of range to get a roll for yourself all the time.

Also throwing: why does this job have it as a skill? Can we throw cards Gambit style?

One more request, put our goddamned Guns on the outsides of our characters. I'm almost done with my first Empy and no one is even going to see it until they check me or I shoot something in it's goddamned face out of frustration.

Rangers and Tanks want Fighters/Misers just like everyone else. With a few exceptions for low man situations where Blu roll is nice. Pet jobs would benefit from a single target JA but most of the times I'm buffing a pet job it's because I'm in an all pet job party/alliance killing something big on easy mode.

I'd like for us to be able to roll over current same rolls.

Although it sound convenient, but it's actually against the design concept of COR. You literally have keep rolling same roll over and over in a pt until it's a good number. If you get a No.6 on chaos? Instead of making the decision and taking risk of double up for better number or bust, you just reroll when timer is up.

Although you can technically reroll by fold or another roll rotation, but that comes with more choices and sacrifice.

That takes all the fun away from the job IMO.

I think that's cuz magian guns have to be used by RNG too, so it can't be hexagun. And majority of better guns are from magian. If they want to make hexagun useful, they have to make it utility type of weapon, so it still has some use.

I suggested on SE forum to make Mythic(which is a pirate weapon) useful by adding more utility long time ago, such as extra QD charge, QD debuff or something PR related. But entire COR community was like "NO!" So Mythic/Hexagun stays useless because everyone only want to just use Arma.

I still don't get it, before you get a nearly worthless Mythic that's pain in the butt to obtain, instead of an useful Mythic that's pain in the butt to obtain. The fact that Mythic is pain in the butt to obtain doesn't change it's usefulness.

If I have a choice, an useful Mythic that's pain in the butt to obtain is still better than worthless Mythic that's pain in the butt to obtain. What's the point to even have a pain in the butt to obtain weapon exist in this game that's worthless? We may as well ask SE to delete the weapon. The game changing Mythic for other jobs, such as KKK, Ryuno, Koga etc, we never see community asked SE to make it worthless or delete the weapon because it's pain in the butt to get them, not sure why COR can't get it's own game changing Mythic.






And you ended up spamming more ammo/gil when you deal dmg, when bullets are already very expensive. If it doesn't outparse Arma there's also no point to spend more money to deal less dmg. May as well make Hexaguns with different utility, and Mythic combines all the utility on top of enhancing them, much like BRD instrument and ghorn.
