Quick question for those that have them:
Do the stats on the gun (+100TP bonus and STP in particular) translate to dagger? I'm assuming they do.

That's not entirely correct. magian weapons with tp bonus can be offhanded and still grant the effect, unlike martial weapons.
As for gun, not certain on that, would have to test.

While I'm not certain for the Store TP weapons (though I'm fairly certain that the Store TP from the gun would affect your normal melee swings), the TP bonus ones only affect weaponskills belonging to those weapons. As such, the gun would only affect Marksmanship weaponskills, and wouldn't boost the effects of any weaponskill you tried using with your mainhand weapon.
