So I have been trying to learn this spell, did 3 of the Behemoth in Abyssea - La Theine with no luck. Now I have been trying the FoV one in Behemoth Domain but have been running into a new issue. Whatever TP move he first uses is the only one he will seem to use the rest of the fight, thinking it is figured by day but really I dont have any clue and now out of tabs.
Anyone have any insight on this? Best day or time, anything appreciated.

The problem with the augment behemoth is that he will only use 2 tp moves.
If neither is thunderbolt, you are screwed.

Although I haven't yet gone after this spell I planned on doing limbus for it. Apollyon nw is easy to solo to the 5th floor for a lv90+ blue. Even with killing most mobs for coins you can get to floor 5 with plenty of time left to hunt the spell. Don't really need any special gear. Just set one of the aoe sleep spells and maybe blankgaze for the ghosts on the first floor. Don't mess with Kaiser though, he will nuke you to death pretty fast. Bring at least 1 friend and the run is even easier.

Actually, on our 3rd attempt at this NM, he used Howl then Wild Horn, and then Thunderbolt. So I'm not convinced he can only do 2 TP moves per spawn.

Just got after trying some of the same methods you did.
FoV - we tried 8 times and no luck. It was so random. It DID do more than 2 tp moves. After over 2 hours of that foolish waste of time, we followed some JP (who were in the alliance earlier) and went to limbus. (NW Apollyon)
If you can get 3+ BLU that is the way to go. The more BLU you have the quicker the ascension to the last floor. It took us ~15 mins to get to the top and proceeded to kill the Behemoths up there. Out of 7 of us only 1 didn't get. I suspect his blu skill was too low.
Total time that route was about 40 mins.

Thanks everyone for your response, I think the next time I get on I can do 1 FoV page and have enough tabs for the FoV page, if no love again I will try some limbus action.
Hopefully I won't end up hanging out in Dominion with a fake limp and a sign for hand outs.

So I did a few more FoV Behemoths, still no love there. I managed to get on with some folks popping NQ, he actually used the move at least but still no score for me. With that I shouted up a limbus party and went with some 3 other BLUs and we rocked them out. I scored first one, overall we scored 3/4 members the spell.

If you go for the FoV one, sub RDM or BLM and try to find out which element it absorbs. From there you can guarantee it won't die as you try to see what TP moves it has. I wound up doing Hadyosh, though, and snagged his atma at the same time. Good for whisker burning if you don't have it.
I learnt it in NW Apollyon on the top floor, took two other Lv95 BLU with me.
Konprinz Behemoth's were easy to kill, Kaiser was hit-and-miss. Thunderbolt from him lasts ages so watch yourself.

I'd just like to add that I'm quite unsure as to whether you can actually learn Thunderbolt from the FOV Behemoth.
Although mentioned on multiple website forums most people go on to say they got it elsewhere I personally after fighting FOV Behemoth 16+ times with 0/4 on the spell itself got it 1/1 on Beastly Shank NQ Behemoth spawn.
Several of those failed learning attempts involved full partys of blue mages which is highly unlikely to return not even one learnt message (most capped skill all with AF1 hands).
I know it is normal to miss but without any confirmation (That I've seen) and discouraging results I don't think we can get it that way.
After the fight it mentions level sync or somthing removed perhaps that battleground style nature of the fight where you can recieve no outside help means this can't work.
If anyone can actually confirm that the FOV Behemoth can indeed teach you the spell that would be great in the mean time I suggest to anyone still needing it to save your time and tabs and go after other previously mentioned routes like Limbus that are proven to work.
