Looking to unlazy myself and finish my OaT polearm, currently 1/10 on Baby Blobdingnags and wanted to know how everyone did that part, because the rest of the trials items can easily be done/already obtained(150/150 Silver mirrors and Riftsands). I know BST(Falcorr) solo and duo with THF worked, but is it worth it to do VNM T3 only with TH1?

No, bring a THF if you value your time.

Each Orange Abyssite that you get is an accomplishment in itself and should be treasured. According to ffxidb, the double drop rate is about 1/3; and each double drop represents a t3 pop that you don't have to farm up. Personally I had 8 single drops and 1 double. Definitely get a thf buddy.

I did it as a three person team generally. A THF (usually me), a WHM (or other healer), and a heavy DD or nuker (sometimes me on BLU; DRG worked fine too) to kill off babies. It was kind of a pain in the butt, but we got myself and another LS member our OAT lances.

Necro Warning: This post occurred more than thirty days after the prior, and may be a necropost.
Well, we trioed most of the pops, I held Blob NM with Falcorr on BST, had a THF TH it and help me melee it down, and a WHM to keep it safe :) Got 3x double drops, 6 single drops and sweet nada on one pop... All with TH8+, ended up with 3x muculent ingots(400k each) and 1x Blodnab ring for my helper :)
