Hello, so I'm looking to come back soon and I felt I should come by the DRG threads to get some advice on what direction I should go in when I get back. (besides leveling up and getting atmas and such from Abyssea) I left shortly after the release of Visions of Abyssea, and to be honest my gear kinda fell behind in that time period due to inactivity. I feel a bit overwhelmed not knowing what/which goals are still feasible anymore, and what gear pieces would be acceptable in this post Abyssea and Lv.75+ vana'diel.(I remember getting really frustrated about a new lance after Thal. stopped being good...) Any help/advice would be really um... helpful. Thanks in advance, Khronos.
p.s. if my gear when I left was of any help if my memory serves me right it was:

Gearwise you want to look into the <url removed> for TP. The full set as soon as you can use it. WS set is still the same as before untill later. After that start working towards <url removed>.
For polearm there is mainly <url removed>. Rhongomiant isn't realy worth it at the moment. The occ. attacks twice Corsesca +2 is very nice. Otherwise there are the WS dmg +10% or STP +13 Stingray +2. There is also a droped polearm like Vougier's contus.

Thank you guys, one more thing though if someone could clarify: why wouldn't the Rhonge be very good compared to corseca+1? I was under the assumption multi-hit lances were more of a plaything compared to a high damage one.
Yeah I dunno what's with the <url removed> thing either. Does it automatically delete it if you link to wiki or something now?

All I know is <something something> 5 hit <something> lower DMG doesn't matter as much for drakesbane <something something> high WS frequency.
So yeah he can tell you better than I can.

OK well when it's put like that I can understand why it would be a better choice. Even still I'll probably make a -PDT Lance on the side just because I miss dragoon soloing. The game has come a long way in the time I've been off, I can't wait to get back on. Here's to new adventures in Vana'diel, thanks again for the advice/pointers. Khronos.
