I was going to make a post specifically about the leg slot in an evasion gear set, but I guess I will make it all-inclusive. I'm sure there are upgrades I can make in other slots. Here's my current EVA set:

I wanted to discuss leg slot mostly. I'm not satisfied with Koga being night-only. I tried for some Spry Tights last night, but went 0/19 on a piece with EVA on it (fail). Any other suggestions?

Other places are obvious:
Evasion Earring --> Iga Mimikazari (just realized this existed last night, 0/1 so far)
Wivre Ring --> Heed Ring (was waiting for price to drop a bit more before I snagged one)
Wivre Ring --> Wivre +1? Stormsoul? Suggestions? I don't have a lot of gil to throw around.

Any other slots that I could improve? Stuff like Alcide's Harness +1 is not going to happen by the way. I can swing a few hundred k per slot max.

Could try for some Ocelot Trousers. Really not that hard to get.

On a related note, Kampe is really really easy to solo on NIN/DNC to get your Heed Ring. As soon as you see a tp move being readied just turn around and keep an extra shadow or 2 up at all times since Kampe has very high Store TP while using TP moves (recast early if you're at 1 shadow). Back-to-back Death Scissors is really the only way to die to him, or keep migawari up (kind of a waste for this imo but whatever floats your boat).

His accuracy is horrible and debuffs stick really easily. Without procing blue at all I'm 16/39 on drops for an 8 minute fight, though I've gone 8 in a row with no drop too. Depending on supply you can sell em for 180-250k (Bahamut) I only use 2 atma RR and GH.

My apologies to anyone else who was using this as a niche market gil-maker, just trying to help out a fellow NIN.

I use Alert Ring for one of my ring slots; heed ring will go into the second one when I get it.

I'm nearly finished on the EVA katanas, so i'm going to be shoving alot more 'DD' into my EVA build (it'll prob just look more or less like my DD build just with new katana's lol).

I can't see me needing all evasion ever. For solo's I can't think of a mob I can't solo where I need pure evasion gimping every aspect of my DD with the katan's. Most tougher NM's I solo I find myself wanting more haste so I can cure myself quicker from the aoe's. I'd prefer to use the atma of the Siren Shadow with ATT+40 EVA+40 over apoc for the TA+15 as i'd be gimping my dmg output way more fitting that eva in from gear over just swapping the 3rd atma.

Did the new KSNMs today. Didn't need all evasion gear, but definitely wished I had a lil bit more evasion for the monk who uses 100 fists (Avian Apostates).
I think getting the 2nd agi/evasion katana would probably be the best to replace (for me) since it wouldn't change damage very much and gives the biggest evasion boost on a single piece.
