I know its an expensive equipment and probably not worth the money, but exactly how good of a piece is it for Nins to tank things with? The evasion and ACC are same as SH+1, does the 8 extra AGI and DEX make a huge difference or no? I think was thinking the increased parries/crits may be nice and all.. not sure..
Would be nice for soloing, but for endgame mobs not so much.

It's a Scorp Harness +2. It has the same Accuracy and Evasion of a Scorp Harness +1, but also some AGI for parrying. The DEX doesn't matter because you're not going to be stacking DEX on anything you'd wear this for anyway (and DEX does negligible things for crit rates unless stacked).
So, you'd wear this any time you'd wear a Scorp Harness, basically. For most of us, I suspect that's not very often. If you solo an awful lot, it might be a worthwhile investment, but you'd have to take solo-ing pretty seriously to spend that much cash on 8 AGI's worth of parrying.

I see, yeah thats what I thought.
I think I temporarily got caught up with dreaming that the harness combined with byakkos haidate would give +23dex, which was something that seemed very nice/attractive and all haha.

If I was wanting purely dex for whatever reason, I'd use Osode. If I was wanting that dex for accuracy, I'd use haub/+1.

DEX+8 is ACC+4 for 1handers, ACC+16 EVA+16 is really the best way to look at it before you start talking about crit+% parry+%.
If you have the money its a good investment if you also have a job such as THF to benefit from it, that would be if you didn't have Homam. Really it's a good piece if you have the cash and nothing else to spend it on that would give a better return. Up to you.
