Soloing to get h2h 250?Follow
I am stuck on how to do this. My MNK is 71 and everywhere I try gets me killed. I've tried Cape Terrigan (duoing Cockatrices with a 67 SAM who was using his TP on WSs rather than keeping me alive), Crawler's Nest (s), Kuftal, Meri Mountains (s)
Make a party? Or ask your LS for help.

Seconded on party, but if you`re dead set on soloing, make sure you have sigil, /dnc, and try bats just inside Oztroja (S). Both singles and bat trios are 70-72, zone is close. I'm not entirely sure there are enough pops to actually kill the bats, but you can take them down to 30% or so then zone them (<25% they TP at 100%, and while they don't have devastating WS there is no reason to force it). Depop anything T, and grab all the DC's you can while you're still under the level 70 skillcap.
Also remember you're not there to deal awesome damage - turtle up a bit with arhat's gear, evasion, etc. You don't even need to use a weapon, you'll hit faster ( => more skillup chances) and lighter (nice EM mobs last longer) without one.

I did have a bst help me yesterday morning and we killed Quadavs in the past. He would set some slugs on the mobs and let them tank. It worked out quite well.
Only reason I'm dead set on soloing is that this is probably a mind numbingly boring thing to ask for help on and I'd rather not inconvenience them with this.
just remember.. your party can be made of other people wanting to level up a skill, so its convenient for them if you make a party with them :D

Grab some tropical punches, /war, nom some sushi, and hit besieged. Use Focus/100F every chance you get - provided you've got revitalizers in your temporary items. I realize this is only a 'sometimes' solution, but it should get you capped on skill with each new level.

Yes to above - Besieged is a great option. An hour long Besieged is good for several points of skill easily, you can do it solo, and you get a nice chunk of ISP. Focus -> Hundred Fists -> Revitalizer FTW indeed.
I personally like /DNC for the accuracy bonus and curing, but I'll often come on /WHM these days for Reraise and generally goofiness (super Chi Blast ahoy!). /NIN is always fine too, for survivability.

I have no problems against just one even match.
Anyways, this thread is outdated. I've had Asuran Fists for a while now, and I can take my time finishing the skillups.

Still it is useful to others, like me for instance. Besieged seems like the way to go for me. I never thought about using hundred fists for it there. good plan!
