Or, get a friend or two to go help you out. Boyahda Tree Steelshells are a typical choice for weapon breaking/skillup parties. They don't hit super hard and they last a while. Perfect when you want lots of SCs.

You can close Light with Dragon Kick, or Darkness with Asuran Fists. That's 5 points per SC you close, a lot easier than doing solo SCs for 1 point a pop solo/farming.

Of course, if you have a decently leveled NPC that can help (especially in "Fierce Attacker" job) if you can only solo it. I've soloed a few trial weapons in Kuftal with my NPC fairly quickly, but she was 60+ at the time and I realize not a lot of people bother to level their NPC.

Or if you have a party with friends and they are OK with letting you intentionally gimp yourself to break your Destroyers, that's another way to quickly break a weapon. Just don't pull that in a pick-up party or in a serious event. Even works if you're in a Level Sync party (and if you sync really low, un-broken Destroyers might actually be good if the DMG is comparable to good choices for that level).

Finally got Asuran fist :)

Got my 35 Usu feet today and will be the proud owner of Usukane Sune-Ate tomorrow! I haven't seen them drop for the 8 months i've been doing Salvage and today 5 bees popped and 3 dropped.... Oh well. I'm now 12/15 on Usu set!

Got some good karma last week by arranging KS99s and (finally) getting a friend his black belt.

Was repaid tonite with CC finally putting out. Hikazu Hara-Ate get!

I don't know if they read this forum, but I'd like to thank my Salvage group, GenjiGlove, for helping me complete full usukane this past week. It's been an ongoing endeavor for the better part of two years, and it's been an immense pleasure to see everyone start from exploring the zones and working out strategies to becoming a well-oiled machine. Salvage is the only event I do these days, and it has never gotten old -- I really have my group to thank for that, with their excellent attitude and good company, more so than any drop.

Finished Usu today! 35 Body dropped on Thursday for the first time since I started a year ago. I've been waiting on just the body piece since February so it feels good to finally get it done!
