I only got my Brown Belt a little while ago "Morbolger ><" and i'm yet to even consider attempting Black. But on a happier note i heard it's now far easier to obtain because it can be aquired from a KSNM50 fight. Any truth in this ?

Each item can be obtained from a KS99 fight (there are no KS50's). That makes it easier in the sense that you don't have to compete for claim, but you still need 99 seals per attempt, some of the fights are harder than the regular ground kings (especially since you can't have backups outside the alliance), and the drop rate on the items isn't that great.

Wow 0/30 :/. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can snag an aspid soon then you won't have to worry about it dropping. I got lucky and mine dropped off adamantoise. Thankfully the other mnk decided to go to fafnir instead otherwise he would have got.
The Brown Belt Marlbolger item can be gotten from a KS30 fight. The Black Belt items from three Kings or their corresponding KS99 fights.

I got mine a few months back, don't remember the exact day, but I do remember a LS member D2ing another member so I could get the Wyrm Beard. Really messed up to see that happen but it's hard for me to be upset seeing as how I got the Black Belt.

Tongue--summer 05.
Egg--5 weeks later, 1/3 (2 egg drops-in two days back to back, and I got 2nd drop on second day).
Beard--Marchish, all from HNMs. Saving seals for other things (for gil only).
9 ks/16 bst stacks and still farming more :)

Behemoth tongue obtained in February on a ls KS99 run 1/7 drop rate
Went to adamantoise today and found him unclaimed. A LS started killing him but died to excessive links, they wiped at 5% and I 2 houred him whilst getting a beating from a couple of raptor links at the same time.
Killed adamantoise with about 100hp left and got the egg only to be killed 2 seconds later by a couple of raptors. Never had a happier death warp home!

Meh can't start the quest yet(lv 69....dam# Maat beat me once haven't gotten another page since). However, I have a Ls with only 4 high lv monks in it that'll let me have the items should they drop.(They seem to merit pty frequently enough for the extra's and one already has Black belt others have 1 or 2 of the items.)
I got mine early November of last year I think.. I remember I had to wake up at 6:00 am to make it to king behe's first window. Also, I wish people would say what server they're on. Like a few people that said they got a BB have a player on my server with the same name, but they're either not a monk or they wear a warwolf belt. So I'm like "wtf..?"
