The description is that it increases triple attack damage. Does this mean normal triple attacks from the job trait or is this meaning ws of 3 or more hits?
If its ws of 3 or more hits is the belt worth getting over the elemental belts like snow belt.

Increases Triple Attack damage means that it increases the damage done by physical attacks triggered by the Triple Attack job trait (or through gear, such as Epona's Ring). It will not increase the damage of a weaponskill (multi-hit or otherwise) unless a Triple Attack procs during the weaponskill.

There is no reason to think multihit ws would get the bonus w/o a triple attack proc. if some testing shows otherwise, which none I hve seen has, then it would be safe to think it works that way. I do not see why anyone would think or tell you it would work on ws without a triple proc. Even then I would assume it would only modify the 2 extra hits of the proc and not the main ws at all. I would think it is even more likely it doesn't work on ws at all, but that is just my opinion.
And I fail too see a situation where using it for to over a haste belt would ever be worth it. 7% haste is a lot to give up for a what 5%? (made up number I am on my phone and cannot check that quickly) bonus to only TAs... It's a good dex belt, and last I checked cheap. Its great for SA and the dex ws but for tp I just can't see it being worth it on any setup for any situation.

Whoever told you that was mistaken. Weaponskills that consist of three or more hits aren't considered triple attacks, so gear that boosts Triple Attack damage such as Demonry Ring or Chiner's Belt will have absolutely no impact on damage as far as the "boosts Triple Attack damage". The only way that gear like the Demonry Ring or Chiner's Belt would boost the damage of a weaponskill beyond their normal stats (the +7 att and the +7 dex, respectively) is if the Triple Attack trait triggers during the weaponskill.

Couldn't you use Assassin's Charge and then your WS and wouldn't the belt & ring work then, thus increasing the damage of the WS?

I would be shocked if those things work on WS regardless of a TA proc or not, to be honest. Most things like that don't correlate to WS at all.
On the subject of the Belt and Ring....
Anybody know how much TA Damage the Ring and the Belt increase it by?
Some say that the ring is +5%, while I also have heard 1%, but I have not found any data on the belt.
If anybody has data on both that would be awesome! :D
