I think given the option, ignoring ease to obtain, I'd still rather have a mandau. I can't justify why though (well, apparantly the 90mandau > 90 twatstar I read?).
Maybe just because Mandu looks cooler imo. I don't want no power ranger dragon dagger or ice cream cone. I'd much rather have a solid gold thief's knife.

Rather than making a new thread figure id just ask here. Will Shadow/Soil gorget also work on rudra's since it has darkness trait, or is it only aqua/snow? Been trying to test on wild rabbits with only dagger and gorgets equipped, but i cant seem to get my damage to be static enough to determine anything.

Check this link to see what gorget works for Rudra's Storm. Look at the skillchain properties.

Yea, I was using sneak attack, made sure I had same TP each time, made sure to only test on wild rabbits, still had as much as 100 damage difference.
Thanks breeze for clearing it up, just wasn't sure if it would work with all 4 elements of the corresponding level 3 characteristic.

Not necessarily correct. From what I've read of limited testing, 'light' or 'dark' as a skillchain property does -not- mean that you can use any of the 4 elements for the associated gorgets, but rather only the light and shadow gorgets themselves, plus whatever additional skillchain properties apply (for Rudra's, that'd be Distortion).
Overall, the gorgets you can use would be shadow, aqua, and snow.

Those are some impressive numbers from thfWarrior. Can you list your Rudra's Storm Gear set? And are those DMG dealt with SA or TA or both? Also What atma you're using? Thanks.

You can Sneak Attack Fafnir now thanks to Bully.
Don't even need Bully, me and another thief was SAing him and pulling hate constantly. Sometimes he'd flail sometimes he wouldn't. But at level 90 the flail didn't even bother us.
