I just hit level 10 and I am wondering whether I should buy 2int or 2mnd rings for my whm? I dont have a very clear understanding of the difference between int and mnd in this game. If anyone could enlighten me it would be much appreciated.

thx

INT is for your offensive spells (Banish series and Holy), MND is for most of your other spells. Tarutarus have naturally high INT and low MND, so a taru WHM should focus on MND+ over INT+. Hope that helps!

Wrong! Mind is the only attribute that matters as a white mage. Let me guess, you read the gamefaqs white mage guide. It's wrong about more than just mind vs. int.

It's true, WHM only uses the MND stat for spells, hence why I went Elvaan. Though I have lower MP than a Taru, with my wand, San ring, Saintly Right, presit robe, preist rope, traveler hat, and light+ earings... I'm doing some killer healing and banishing, since I have a +11 to mind.

WHM +MND BLM +INT thats all you need to know.

+MND will help cap your heals quicker and also help with debuffs.

As a lvl24 WHM I have +17mnd and yes it makes a big difference.

age old question that has diff responses but i gotta ask to make sure....

so is the +int helpful in resisting spells? (in addition to the +elemental status..eg, if Silence is wind-based, and you have high wind protection and +int, is the +int helpful in resisting these spells)

and if the +int and +mnd thing is true, does that mean that taru are naturally selected to be good for blm if they have higher +int? (other than mana pool which is good for any mage class)

thanks!

Mind also affects your resistance to magic and how long the status will last on you.
