Hmm, curious. You'd think people would tell you if something was wrong, though, when you're asking about his whereabouts on his wall. Has he logged onto GW2 lately?

As for birthday greetings, I'm really bad at wishing people a happy birthday on Facebook. I don't use a notification alert thingy (though people are trying to get me to use it), and I'm bad at checking the calendar, which is why I don't use a physical calendar either.

Hope he's okay.

Maybe he quit the internet for a while? I dunno.. it is kind of creepy.

100+ posts of trying to belittle people in an online forum is way creepier than anything you can throw at us, RAW.

Yeah, I hate timed missions and chase missions. Too stressful.

Hitman: Absolution is such a broken game.

I'm more than aware that there needs to be some suspension of belief when playing video games or watching movies and tv, but when I can lose someone tracking me by crouch-walking around a car and then sneak kill the same person when I lap him I find myself rubbing my temples in disappointment.

I haven't played GW2 myself since Halloween, so I have no idea.

I probably would have played GW2 more if the game didn't have just two developers and some serious balancing issues that won't be addressed this year. The entire minion/pet/companion AI is trash, but they don't have the manpower to fix it, which means the Necromancer is boned until ArenaNet hires more people for the game that nobody is paying subscription to. Good strategy, releasing a half-baked game without a steady income to support a proper development team.

Also, I don't feel very heroic when I play GW2. My Necromancer and Engineer both die if they pull more than two enemies at a time, and even pulling just two brings them low on health. There are even enemies in the game that will randomly explode - without warning - and do something like 90% of your health in damage to you, causing you to die the second something else looks in your general direction. Compared to SWTOR, DCUO and WoW, where you can jump in and beat up a half dozen guys no sweat, it's disappointing.

I don't mind difficult games, but GW2 isn't difficult. You don't need mad skills to succeed, you just need to pick the right class and/or not pull groups of enemies.

I checked the google as well, found his linkedin but no bad news.

No news is good news and what not.

I've just resolved to letting it desync if I don't get the chase right away. Because if you make a small mistake somewhere it's going to take hours to catch up and restarting is much quicker.

And yeah, expensive controller is expensive. Mine only has some scratches though.

Moving around with a controller reminds me too much of keyboard turning. You can go 180 in a split second with the mouse. You're stuck doing the shuffle with a controller d-pad.

Is it dead already? And I haven't even tried it yet...

Pretty much everyone I know who got it quit because there's just nothing to do once you reach cap except for join in realm vs realm battles that you can't possibly have a noticeable impact on anyway due to their scale. And now they're stuck with a half finished game that's lacking content and not generating any money.


Edit: I'd like the synch more if they made sense. Often they just make it more difficult (because else, what's the point) but wouldn't Ezio be smart enough to make it as easy as possible on himself?

The don't kill anyone full synch ones for example. Often they're much simpler if you just shoot a guard from afar with your crossbow so why on earth wouldn't Ezio do this anyway? It's not like he minds killing random guards all the time and you're actually awarded for stealing from poor citizens.

I play AC on my PC with a controller too. I find it much more relaxing and comfortable to lay on my bed playing than having to sit up in a chair. I'm still on the first one though. I need to get back to playing those games after this weekend...

Protein, there are console commands out there that could save you a lot of time.

Rambling explanation:

I'm not big on the console commands, you know in a 'cheat code' kind of way. That said, I have nothing against resetting my perk points on a character I've invested 100+ hours into. The characters I've been trying have actually been pretty different from each other up to this point though ( conjuration archer, light armor + sword-n-board, dual-wield thief, heavy armor mage) It'd take more than the simple respec to change my light armor + sword-n-board into a heavy armor mage. Don't have many of the right skills leveled, I'd have to go out and get new gear and improve it, there are quest lines I'd want to go back and do, etc.

At that point I'm either entering a crazy number of commands or just re-rolling; which seemed like the better idea to me at least.

Get drunk at bowling alley -> Drive to secluded place -> Make Babies -> Repeat

I assumed as much. Which is great because looking back it's confusing a heck, and I don't know if it would make sense to anyone else, but whatever, they don't count.



Yeah I wouldn't do that. As a bonus it's nice looking at different characters as well. Plus the quests: one character runs off to Riften, another to the Mage college, another does the companions quest line, etc etc. Guess there's enough to explore it hasn't been too much of a problem. Though I suppose I could have 1 character at level 60 and be done with the game...
