Oh, this was about Pigtails, not Maz. I need sleep...

And I don't like cooking in a kitchen that's at 40-something degrees C.

And I know Maz has heard my voice, even though he was always too shy to talk on vent. Pigtails however, I'm sure, hasn't heard my voice.

This is actually the second time that this has happened. Barking Turtle did it to me in the OoT a year or two ago as well.

Another deserved loss for the Dutch, they played as they should have 70 minutes into the second game, they were basically 160 minutes too late with that. Had they played as they did the last 20 minutes Denmark wouldn't have stood a chance and Germany would've had to struggle to not lose.
The Dutch need to play at a high enough speed to put continuous pressure on the opponent so that the opponent can't mount a proper offense because let's face it, the Dutch team isn't capable of withstanding any sort of continued offense. They absolutely need to force the opponent into a turtling game to avoid straining their own defense so offense really is the best defense for them.


Still, we got to see 20 minutes of the Dutch playing like the Dutch should, although we're still severely hurting for a player like Jaap Stam or someone similar who can clean up the defense, with brute force if necessary. 90 minutes like that vs Portugal and Germany beating Denmark and they're not quite gone yet so I'm hoping for either that or a stunt by Denmark vs Germany so I can root for Denmark instead. One has to admire the Germans or their brutal efficiency even though I can't stand the way they play. I am still Dutch after all, I want to see offensive football like Ajax, Barcelona or the Dutch national team at their peak.


Edit: as far as RAW mentioning Pigtails real name, I think intent is the key here and I sincerely doubt he used her name with any purpose other than provoking her so yeah, at the least it's really not cool.

Rio, you're right about my English. I tend to favor the American accent because it's easier for me to pronounce the words. Still break my mouth on some of those words, though... like 'three'... who the sh*t thought it would be a good idea to put the letters t, h and r together?

I watched both of the matches today, and to be honest, in the first match I rooted for Denmark, and they almost had the tie, but then Portugal scroed in the last few minutes.

Ronaldo was so.. horrible today. He did only manage to make one nice pass in the entire game, as I recall.

In the other match. Hollands defense was pisspoor to be honest, and Germany's was far from great in the first half aswell. Germanys offense had plenty of space to work in the middle of Hollands side of the field.
It would have been great if Klose had managed to scroe in the situation where he pretty much charged towards Hollands goalie.

Don't worry, I don't bring anyone breakfast in bed. I get it brought to me.

As for pronouncing three, you could always go for a Jamaican accent... or a Mexican one. I used to pronounce that word with a Mexican accent for ages.

I said three with a rolled R, like Mexicans, mostly.

Also, hah, now I'm thinking "thirty three and a a third" in an Irish accent.

'Th' isn't so bad since we use a lot of soft d's in Danish and it's almost the same tongue/lip/mouth movement.

The problem is the 'r' and having to roll it. We generally don't roll out r's, so there's no muscle memory involved. Having three consonants in a row doesn't help either. We have triple consonant words in Danish as well, of course, but to my knowledge, we rarely, if ever, pronounce all three. The word 'handle' (to shop or to act -- it can mean either) is pronounced with a silent d. Same with the word 'endnu' (yet). Silent d and it's pronounced eh-nu. Two consonants.

Danish is very much a vowel language. Especially if you live in the west. One Jutland dialect shortens words down to just the vowels, enabling them to pronounce entire sentences using only vowel sounds. I can't understand that crap, being civilized and all, but they can. Crazy bastards.

I'm about 90% sure that's a pun, but I'm too tired and sick to figure out what it is.
