Recipe DatabaseFollow

I played FFXIV on the initial release, then quit and re-subbed earlier this week. I'm at work at the moment, and doing some basic research for levelling crafting for when I get home.

I did however try a couple of recipes this morning before I set off, which I though I remembered, but they didn't work - nay bother I thought, and started trawling the web for ideas to level later.

Thing is, from looking across several forums, sites, and databases etc. I have come across many many guides, all posted from late 2010/2011 etc. and only one 'General crafting guide" for V1.23.

So, I am now officially confused to heck. Is the recipe database on this site accurate, or has there been a big overhaul of recipes and simplification of certain things?

For example, I remember in the beginning things like this Dated_Bronze_Gladius[/link">[link=http://ffxiv.zam.com/en/recipe.html?ffxivrecipe=183]Dated Bronze Gladius[/link] which needed several crafts from level 11~20 just to make the ingredients for a level 3 sword.

But then I found [link=http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Category:Blacksmithing_Recipes/Levels_1-10]this and I just don't know if it is simply missing recipes, or I'm just missing something...

They are still there.
