Hi, can anyone help me Im a conjurer (obviously) and for some reason i just cannot get my aoe shock spike macro to work. I use a cure and stoneskin aoe macro and they both work fine, so why doesnt my shock spikes one seem to work? I use:
/aoe on
/ac Shock Spikes <me>
/ac Shock Spikes <p2>
/wait 5
/aoe off

What am i doing wrong? THis works for bothe cure and stoneskin. Help appreciated!

Well first of all you don't have the quotation marks around "Shock Spikes", that's probably why it isn't working. I also didn't think <p2> worked or any form of <p#> for that matter, at least not yet.

You have to put them in " " because its a 2 word name. Cure is one word as well as stoneskin, but when the name is separated by a space the quotes are required. This goes for gear as well if you make gear macros.

For the record, the "/wait #" portion of any AoE casting macro is unnecessary.

I've seen a lot of this /wait stuff in a lot of people's macros and it's just the lemming effect...

/aoe on
/ac "Spell Name" <target>
/aoe off

The above captioned macro will fire off an AoE version of "Spell Name". Apparently, as long as AoE is "on" when you start casting, the end result is an AoE spell.
