Was curious if anyone knows if they added this to the game. I know in FFXI certain mobs were more susceptible to certain types of magic. Has anyone done any testing on this?

The only trend I've noticed is that squirrels seem to be hit more often by Fire than by Blizzard but this could just be coincidence.

In the beginning no but later on near the end of game - sure.

The beginning mobs have the same low amount of elemental as you do so 1 or this and 3 of that means zilch with such low stats. Later on at high levels when a fire mob has +80 fire and 10 ice....you will see a difference.

Makes sense, Thank you.
In FFXI even though the same was true for the most part I was still using weaknesses even in the dunes but it was something I enjoyed so I was just curious if anyone had a complied list or any additional information. Thank you again.

The only one that might be noticable at the minute, is Fire on Plantoid creatures, like Funguar for example.

I don't know yet if it is down to my current equipped stave, or the element alignment of the Funguar, but they take significantly more damage from Fire, than my highest specced elements [Ice, Thunder] however, I'm using the started stave, which has a 35% affinity with Fire, as opposed to 0% with my main casting spells.

I'll test it later
