So I've been keeping MND up with the thought of end-game mobs that cast magic. Wyrms and Ultima (if you played FFXI) being some of the mobs I was thinking about when I decided to do this.

Has anyone else been doing this or are you all rocking the STR/VIT/DEX build that everyone is talking about in the other thread?

For me it's Str>Vit>Dex... Even though I'm leveling Gld, Lancer, Pug, and Archer behind my Marauder, that it. They will never make it past 40 or 50 I'm sure. Also have no interest in DoM jobs.

MND = Magic Defense

SE likes creating end game mobs that use big AoE magic.

Has that been made clear for FFXIV though? Can always just move points around if needed, but I don't see endgame stuff coming around the corner as far I'm concerned. I plan on playing for the next few years at least.
