Officially since Jan 2010, but unofficially I've been following since the rumors in 2006.
Wow! That's a long time. Yeah I didn't catch on to the rumours much till 2008 and didn't realize they had a site and it was going a head till 2009 lol! :D. Do you have a guild or are you just a happy member waiting for the game to start first before doing that kind of thing? and what are you planning to play as first?

Heya people...been waiting on this game since the SWG beta :) BioWare's bound to do it right, haven't been disappointed by them yet.

Considering the pre-orders are up to 630,465 as of this Monday (10/17), I would say your efforts to prevent people from playing it is falling short.
How long have you been in beta? Which classes did you try out? I heard the Imperial Agent had a really good class story (although I'm leaning towards Smuggler myself).

Funny, I know 3 guys in full beta and 2 who did the weekend beta and they don't agree with you... I have an invite for this weekend so I'll find out for myself.

People are going to have to make up their own minds about this game, I've been testing for a while myself, and it's not without flaws. The game is not finalized and by no means is it a finished product. With that being said, I still think that a lot of the game lives up to the hype.

Don't listen to this guy. It does NOT take 2-3 weeks to get to 50, unless you are hardcore and playing 8 hours a day. Each storyline is 100-150 hours of gameplay. There are numerous group opportunities, and for a game in beta there is more content than I have EVER seen for something that hasn't even been released yet. Literally everything this guy has said is either complete misinformation or else based off his clearly jaded opinion. I happen to really enjoy it, and I can guarantee a lot of other people will too.

BartelIV, I've done the beta after that post I made and I have to agree with you, I don't know what this guy is talking about. It's like he's in a different game entirely. I play every class for a bit and it was a blast. The graphics, the gameplay, the conversations, the animations, Flashpoints...the only stuff I found at fault were the known bugs.
Perhaps he prefers SWG. Quite a few folks hold Bioware responsible for 'killing' that game (silly as that is).
