Hi, just joined and tried to add some content. I clicked "edit" for the item and added some content but then it creates a duplicate page even though both are the same.
Check out "Living Transplanar Crystal" - if you do a search for it, there are now 2 pages. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. Can someone please help? I would like to contribute.

There are two database pages for it because Trion's data has two entries of that item. :) It happens sometimes--a lot of times with quests!

To expand on what Cy posted, YOU did nothing wrong. There are two parts to ZAM Rift: The database and the wiki. A wiki page will attach itself to any database entry with the same name. Those two database entries share a wiki page :)
We just make the page as precise as possible, encompassing all permutations.

sorry to be so obtuse - is this a permanent configuration? if 27 people edit a page there will be 27 identical entries in the search system. Seems kind of difficult after a while.

It has nothing to do with the wiki portion being edited. :) Any duplicate entries are due to Trion's data; if they have 5 items named "A Cool Item" then we'll have 5 pages named "A Cool Item". If 27 people edit a non-duplicated page then there's still only 1 page.
