Here’s the good news testers have all been waiting for, the Beta 3 test dates:
“Enter the Rift,” the third closed beta event for Rift™, the upcoming MMO from Trion Words, is scheduled to start at 10am on December 28th, and run through 10am, December 31th. Choosing a character from either the Guardian or Defiant factions, players will fight through the first 20 levels of the game battling back planar rifts, running dungeons and exploring the vibrant world of Telara.
Potential testers should keep an eye on the site as we will be giving away more closed Beta keys prior to the event starting.

I can't wait for the next beta event. I'm truly hoping to get either a VIP key or another invite to the next round. I'm really enjoying what I've seen so far and I'm hoping the PvP comes through as strong as every other aspect the game has shown so far.

I'm so glad the NDA is lifted. I was afraid to chat on the forums too often for fear that I'd let too much slip. >.>
Can't wait for the new event! I've been wanting to try Defiant, since I missed the first beta test, so that's what I'll be doing instead of continuing my level 14 Guardian. Still torn though on whether I like the diversity of the bard enough to make another or if I should stick to what I know best already: healing. Granted, the bards can heal a bit, but it's nothing compared to a cleric.

The first 2 event betas were fun. I'm hoping I get into this next one. Would be nice if my wife and son got in too so I don't have to share one account with 3 people for a 3 day event. LOL.

I got the chance to watch a friend play and the game looks awesome. I am really hoping for an invite for the next beta event.
VIP would be nice but just as long as I can get in with a regular beta key I would be happy.

I really hoped this would be a pvp Event, but on the Podcast i heard they threw this one out based on requests from the community. So i'd assume the pvp event will be the 4th beta (which was meant to be the 3rd one)

That is pretty good timing for another beta, seeing as how many will have nothing to do between Christmas and New Years. I'm definitely wishing for a Beta key for Christmas.

A - hurrah, with any luck I'll get a beta key and can start to have a proper look...
B - my higher powered machine has just melted - I've had to reinstall the OS but it still won't talk to the DSL connect.
So, SANTA, please fix my machine for christmas!

Played a lock/necro this past beta and a shaman/druid so far thought the lock/necro was the best! Cant wait to finish leveling her and hopefully some pvp this next beta. If any of you are on Sunrest (rp-pvp server) look me up..name is barcode but its spelled Illllllllll (that 1 I and 10 Ls)

Since the NDA was lifted and all the extra info has been released about the game, and after watching all the latest ingame videos released im totally drooling over this game , i wanna play it so bad, im really hoping to win a vip key before tuesday, It would be so awesome if i could win:D

I'm suprised they didn't make this event on the weekend, but i guess this kind of makes sense as it would interfer with the christmas weekend
