Weekend GoalsFollow

Well, it's Friday again. Should have a pretty good weekend as far as gaming goes as the tiny terror is with his mom. I do need to do a thorough cleaning of my condo and get my dishwasher working again. Got a doctor's appointment today to follow up on being in the ER on Tuesday morning.

What are you guys looking to accomplish this weekend?

WoW: One truegold bar away from the last 365 weapon I intend to make. I cheated with two of my characters -- a paladin and a warrior. We had two lv85 brewfest mugs in the bank. Yes, they're agility, but the raw DPS on the weapon made them way better than the 333s they were using.

I figure that they'd make better weapons than the quested mace until I finish a few Jade Forest quests when MoP comes out. That, and the strength loss isn't That large -- 90-some strength, which I can get some of that back by using enchant scrolls, though it isn't that important, since they are both set up as Prot.

So I'll have those last two weapons done tomorrow, waiting on my Dreamcloth cooldowns (Sunday), on the Alliance side, my main has 4 Illusionary Bags already, going to start making ones for mom's main. Horde, I still need 1 bag and I'm working on that now.

I might try and take some lesser-played characters out and do some dailies or something, and Darkmoon Faire comes up this Sunday; that is probably what will dominate my Sunday Evening now that I think about it. I always do the profession quests every month, as they (all of my characters + mom's) give our guilds about 10-15% of a levelup.

RL, sorta:

I found a fun steam game (King's Bounty) that I will probably tinker around with. The graphics remind me of WC3, while the gameplay reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics, and the one I've been playing (Armored Princess), the main character looks quite yummy.

It is a fun game though I'm off to a rocky start, but I'm getting better at learning how things go. I wish I hadn't wasted that damn Fireball scroll you get from the tutorial before I learned you could scribe them into your permanent spellbooks; I haven't seen one yet. Arrgh. I'm entertaining the idea of restarting the game, partly for that reason and partly because I wasted a lot of troops during my noobiness in trying to learn how the combat system worked.

RL, for reals:

I really need a haircut badly. lol. Been wanting one for a couple weeks, but just can't find the TIME. Arrgh. Might try on Saturday, as I don't work until 5pm. Not sure yet, though. Otherwise, I'm not gonna be doing much RL other than working until *next* weekend as I'm on a 13-day stretch with only 1 day off (this past Tuesday). Don't get another day off until this coming Tuesday and a lot of those days have been double shifts because of someone's vacation.

WoW: The new guild has been helpful and friendly. I wasn't really planning on another DK rush to 85, but they seem to really want me to push to level cap. Goal -- see if I can get the DK to 85 by the time the weekend is over. Run DMF fairly heavy to start working towards new heirlooms. Sigh, too bad BtA doesn't go across servers.

RL: Bun-Bun is stuck at school this weekend, so I plan on staying in and having no life.

Haircut: I try to remember to shave both of my remaining hairs daily.

@BigD -- visits to the ER are not good. Get well.

Closing on Inscription max (501) but will probably have to spend hours cruising Uldum collecting whiptail herbs. The ink I need to finish can't be had in the AH at any price and while whipail is the best chance for drops, it still fairly low percentage. Probably need to collect at least 30 stacks to be sure I have enough.. If the guild raids, I might sign on, but I truly don't feel like the intensity. I need to do some gear work, currently 362, but I have come to detest weekend PUGs, esp in cata heroics, nothing bt a bunch of whining prima donnas who think they're magnificent and everybody else is a newbie just dying to receive their digs and bits of unwanted wisdom.

My 20 Draenel pally needs work but I'm holding him back to stay level with a guild dungeon/questing group. Maybe I'll start a new toon for questing - if I can think of a class/race I care enough about to start.
