So, I have a lot of my friends in the Real World interested in my progression in FFXIV, primarily because they'd read the early reviews and they're holding their breath, waiting for version 2.0 and the PS3 version.

I've been trying to keep them up to date via Facebook, but I just realized... why not integrate social media directly into version 2.0? Facebook has a great API, why not incorporate it into the code so that someone can post achievements directly to it, screenshots, etc?

Not just Facebook, but Twitter, and perhaps whatever social media platform is popular in Japan.
