Every craft class gain hasty hand skill at rank 15. But lets be honest.

This skill is mostly for parts - which gives you small amount of SP anyway.

Why do you lower gained SP by half ? I dont see any sense. It just nerf the skill and force lower synt to be done with normal - time sink - way anyway.

Idea : Remove halved SP from Hasty hand Skill. If you agree sign under this thread with your post.

Realistically you are supposed to be using Hasty Hand on stuff you're already really over ranked for, atleast to have good chances of success. Honestly the difference between 20 and 10 SP isn't a big deal. What matters is I didn't have to spend a bunch of time crafting that 20 SP.

As for this, it's totally untrue. The determining factor for SP gains is Your Rank VS. Optimal Rank to Craft. Parts, Materials, Finished goods are irrelevant for determining SP gain. The only differentiation in Your Rank VS Optimal Rank to craft appears to be in leves, which seem to apply a 50ish% bonus to the SP gains (It may be more like 25% but just for arguments sake). Basically Hasty Hand if you want to spam up a bunch of something quickly (Arrows, Spetches, Buckles, Lumber) typically that you are ten levels over. If you are worried about the 10 SP per synth spam standard 5-6 times your choice.

I had in mind synts which add 150 SP per single synt. You could do these with around 75% (by my guess) success rate with hasty. I would prefer this way even if it would fail a bit more sometime.

I'd rather have them just remove the fail rate for anything more than like 1-2 ranks under you. Failing an r3 brass nugget synth at r23 goldsmith is just annoying. Failing it 8 times out 30 attempts is just downright ridiculous.

Honestly I only use Hasty Hands for synths that are far below my craft rank (usually basic mats like yarn or linseed oil) and even then, I don't use it often. 6AP could be used far better than a skill that has a theoretical 33% chance to succeed.

It would be interesting to add a twist to the skill: keep the skill as it is durability/progression advancement-wise but instead of halving the SP, go with a Double or Nothing gamble. That might encourage some people to actually equip and use the skill for synths over their rank just for the chance to double your SP.

Did you get Support and Training, I have at least 90% success rate on recipe that don't give me SP using Hasty Hand, that's from Hasty Hand over 200 Silver Francisca Head and Silver Nugget/Brass Nugget.
