Sad that people still have to break ToS to get their updates. Another thing in the long list of changes that need to come with 2.0

Crap, yesterday finally went Window 7 pro 64 bit and I thought this was just another classic error blocking me from logging back on.Xp worked flawless since launch I shouldn't have wiped my old hard drive.
Why are they using peer to peer downloads? ... This is major suck. 0.1% after two hours

I cancelled and restarted a few times and eventually got it downloaded. That was a huge ass patch for an emergency maintenance.

The peer to peer download method is not, in itself, a bad idea. I don't think they're using a proper torrent engine, though, and instead having everyone start from the first piece and go in a linear fashion, then passing along that piece to the next person. Horribly inefficient, as it hammers the initial seeds for that first piece far too much, and means those who started downloading are going to be passing that first piece along to 20 other people, effectively killing their bandwidth for downloads.
