Hello everyone. I'm an old-timey FFXI player (have played since NA release) and have been considering moving onto FF14. It seems like a waste to subscribe if the price will be raised shortly after. I don't know much about the campaign yet, and was wondering if it were possible to somehow subscribe say, this week, and become a legacy member in time.
Any details would be greatly appreciated since I know nothing and the website didn't provide many details to my problem. Thank you.

Uh I think it's possible, though the price will be raised to basically the same price as FFXI lol. You need 90 days straight before 2.0 beta to qualify, so whether it happens in Sept or Oct, it's touch and go at this point, but it's very possible.
Yes you should be able to sub for 3 months and once your tab shows up you're a legacy member and eligable for the special pricing at 2.0 launch.

You sure it's straight? I was under the impression that it's just 90 days period.

Ah, but is it May 31st according to Japanese time? I just bought it today and am installing it now -- unfortunately, it is already July 1st there. Will be disappointed if I can't qualify for legacy.
That I don't know for sure. The NA page says the 31st though and all times are localized, so I think your in the clear.
