Is there somewhere that shows a current list of spells. I used this site too look up my thurm skills and they have skills for my level (13) that I don't have?

The updated "Action/Trait" menu shows you every skill you can learn on every class minus the job abilities. Though if you are curious about job abilities I'd recommend checking www.mooglebox.com but if you just want to know the spells you can learn, make sure you're on a DoW/M class and under said menu just click on the class icon and it'll show you everything you can learn and the level you learn them at.
Do you have to buy new spells, or do you just learn when you reach a level?

You learn them automatically
That's awesome because with FF11 you would have to spend insane amounts of Gil to get certain scrolls. Man those were the days, so much running around and farming.
