So they added many ne jobs from old ffxi. Pld Drg, Smn, Drk.
But they haven't brought the blu back yet? Or am I wrong? I won't touch the game until the job gets added.

Wow, demanding aren't we? BLU wasn't added to FFXI until four years after.
There are allusions to FFXI Blue Mages though. There's a man in the Ul'dah storyline named Raubahn and he wields a Tizona.
To be fair, we're also missing other signature FF classes, Summoner (coming in 2.0), Red Mage (hinted at in a Yoshida interview), etc...

If you won't play without Blue mage.. why not just stay in 11? Y'know, since it's already there, fully functional etc. Isnt' that a better option then simply yelling DEAR FFXIV I WON'T TOUCH YOUR GAME WITHOUT BLUE MAGES.
It's the same as all the people saying "I won't play FFXIV unless [insert aspect of XI] is introduced!" If its's already in XI, why not just stick to that?
XIV isn't XI. Yes parts are similar and mildly nostalgic, but it isn't a clone and shouldn't be. Enjoy each for what it is. Play the one that has the things you want.

Blue Mage is not just a FFXI thing. It was in the series since V. I think it will be introduced eventually. But to not even give the game a chance since it's not implemented yet is kind of asinine. What did you play in XI before 2006?

I'm just excited to see everything come down the pipe. I'm going to level conj, and thurm just to be on the safe side. I'm going to go WHM when I get up higher and hopefully I can play more advanced jobs as they come down the pipe. OMGOMGOMGOMGOGMOMG. That's how I feel about this game right now.
