Wait a sec so PS3 version didnt come out March 31st 2011? What happened?!

Best Buy said it would be out December 31, 2011. They lied as well.

If you wanted to go even further back, you could say "Wait a sec, so the PS3 version is being delayed until March 31 2011? No simultaneous release?"

I believe if you get a new copy of Final Fantasy XIII (for PS3), you can use the enclosed "Campaign Code" to sign up for the Final Fantasy XIV PS3 Beta test. However, given all that's happened, I'm not entirely sure that offer is still valid.

Just to follow up on this, it appears the beta sign-up with the FFXIII code is no longer a possibility. For one thing, the beta sign-up site where you enter the code now redirects to the Lodestone. For another, the special Campaign Code was only offered in the "first release" boxes of FFXIII for the PS3 (the so-called Lightning Edition) and is no longer being issued. If you do manage to find a code, you can submit it for a pair of Asuran Armguards, however. But whether it will offer access to the FFXIV PS3 Beta seems doubtful at best.
