Learn to read, the idea is that if the characters aren't engaged in battle they will have enhanced hp and mp regeneration rates. I didn't ask for them to instantly have back their full hp and mp bars. Go back to FFXI, if you have that single track mentality, you need to look at the possibilities.
Some people really love their grind and their extreme time sinks, huh? The EQ days are long gone, dude!
One last thing, lol at your "realism" in a game where you can cast magic.
Well, I wasn't going to be a dick about it but..
Why don't you learn to read and not be so hostile? I said nothing about instantaneous regeneration I said regen in time for the next MOB, which is the only thing that would eliminate downtime.
You seem to take people enjoying aspects of the game on a personal level. Did time sinks give your mother cancer? I've never played EQ; I played FFXI. You don't want time sinks? Don't play a JRPG, or any good RPG. Time sinks go with realism pretty well.
Yes, realism. I mean, I might have been somewhat sympathetic with you being a jackass in your reply had you not said that. Clearly your understanding of fictional realm dynamics are lacking. I can't even type without laughing because of how stupid the idea of "lol at your realism" is. I'll try to explain: Realism adds believability to a world, while introducing the concept of danger.
*** You are a lowly adventurer, wandering some forgotten city...***
A trip outside, OMFG NOOOOOOOOOOoooo... **dodododoodo** BATTLE **dodododoodo** A Killer Bee approaches! You swing: ... ... ... 2146778974219989827979 DAMAGE CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE NOW THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL. HAVE FUN KILLING A GOD.
This is an example of *surrealism* in a fantasy game. This is the opposite of realism. Realism goes with some key words, such as: takes time to do things worthwhile, things don't always work out the way you want, you can't kill whatever the @#%^ you want, you can't do whatever the @#%^ you want.
If you want a game with God-Mode enabled, that's your problem.
I will wake up at six a.m. again.
and I will find my way to the front door
like a soldier crawling through the smoking carnage.
smoldering bodies at my feet,
I'd love to stick around, but I've got someone to meet.
and I will put my best foot forward.
and I'll thank god I made it out of there
on the day when my new friends come.
