WAR macros can't use abilities. Least thats what I've heard. Never tried it. So it severely limits what you can do.
No abilities is correct and the icon list is bugged so you only have a few options. It also doesn't seem to like multiple /p /s commands in the same macro --but that might just be my ineptness with it. The War FAQ and help knowledge base were not particularly helpful on this matter (hence the weeks between OP and this reply). But I finally made some progress!
Posted deep in a Warhammer Alliance forum by Aiiane (have to give credit) was this macro that actually works: /script SystemData.UserInput.ChatText=L"KILL >> "..TargetInfo:UnitName("selfhostiletarget") SystemData.UserInput.ChatChannel=L"/s" BroadcastEvent(SystemData.Events.SEND_CHAT_TEXT)
It tells in /say to kill the target you have targetted.
I modified it to be incoming (incoming %t for us with mmo in our past). I've tried other posted macros and this is the only one (in its beautiful complicity) that actually seems to work.
Edit: You can change the word "hostile" to "friendly". Did this to make my "attempting to rez >> __________" macro. Edited, Dec 9th 2008 6:56pm by snailish
